Continuous Furnaces for Heat Treatment of Nonferrous Metal Bands

Continuous furnaces are predestined to be built into pickling lines and production lines with sheet metal final finishes. They are built in horizontal and vertical arrangements. For longer band passage times and better throughput, the vertical furnaces are conveniently arranged with multiple loops.

Regarding the heat treatment process requirements and desirable final finishes, E-THERM provides within its range mainly heat treatment furnaces working under a protective atmosphere of pure nitrogen or of nitrogen with 4% hydrogen (non-explosive mixture). These furnaces have either electrical resistive heating systems or radiant pipes with gas-fired burners.
