Furnaces for Transformer Sheet Heat Treatment
To complete the lines for the heat treatment of transformer sheet strip made of silicon steel, E-THERM supplies furnace assemblies for multistage thermal processes. Their individual operations are comprised of:
- drying of the insulating layer applied,
- sheet metal annealing,
- sheet metal straightening at the prolongation temperature,
- controlled cooling and cooling down to handling temperature.
These furnaces are available along with gas- or electrically-fired heating systems; the processes (from annealing up to cooling) are run under protective atmosphere.
